The Peletto KPL shredding system is a professional industrial installation designed for processing large quantities of husks, chaff and other plant-based materials.

The system is suitable, among other applications, for shredding:

• Sunflower husks
• Buckwheat husks
• Coffee husks
• Soybean husks
• Rice husks
• Bean husks
• Bran
• Cereal chaff
• Straw
• Small wood chips
• Similar plant-based materials

The shredded material can subsequently be used as a homogeneous raw material for pellet production, briquetting or combustion in solid-fuel boilers.

The system is designed for processing large volumes of material and, depending on the selected configuration, achieves a capacity of 1,000 to 3,000 kg/h.


SYSTEM COMPONENTS


1. STORAGE HOPPER WITH INTEGRATED AGITATOR

The spacious storage hopper with an integrated agitator prevents the material from bridging and ensures a consistent supply to the conveyor.

A worm gear motor ensures reliable operation of the mechanism.

The hopper dimensions allow loading both with a loader and manually.

Available hopper capacities:

• 1.5 m³
• 3 m³


2. INCLINED BELT-SCRAPER CONVEYOR

The inclined belt-scraper conveyor transports the material evenly and continuously to the hammer mill.

Variable frequency speed control allows the material feed rate to be adjusted to the capacity of the system, ensuring a continuous production process.


3. HAMMER MILL

The hammer mill is designed for shredding husks, chaff and similar materials.

The machine is also suitable for processing small wood chips.

The hammer mill is equipped with four-sided reversible hammers made of high-strength Hardox 500 steel with a thickness of 6 mm. The material offers high resistance to intensive abrasive wear.

To protect the electric motor, the system is equipped with a multi-level monitoring and overload protection system.

Available motor power options:

• 22 kW
• 37 kW


4. DISCHARGE SCREW CONVEYOR

The screw conveyor discharges the shredded material from the system.

The finished material can be conveyed directly into:

• Containers
• Big Bags
• Storage hoppers
• Dosing screw conveyors for subsequent pellet production

Depending on the required discharge height, the following screw conveyor lengths are available:

• 2 m
• 4 m


5. CONTROL CABINET

The control cabinet is equipped with protection systems against overload, voltage fluctuations and other electrical irregularities.

The control panel is simple and intuitive to operate.

An electrical connection diagram is also supplied.
